My Valentine Story

Sometimes you need an amazing surprise to rekindle the thought why you chose a significant other to love. I guess this is what Valentines Day is all about.

It is so easy to forget about the younger years of love, when consumed with our ambitions, goals in life, working 13+ hour shifts and late nights, without energy to do anything else but sleep for the next day. This has been the unfortunate case for my valentine and I as we strive to achieve what we aspire to become the best Pharmacy and Photography career we can work towards a strong future.

I find it hard to believe that it is nearly 3 years ago where I did something amazing for her – I was compelled to bring her back to the younger years of our lives, where we would surprise each other every day discovering romance in our relationship.

So I had a thought to organise a simple surprise for her.

I have been extremely busy working late hours at the Pharmacy and covering a Valentines Day wedding, so we agreed to postpone our ‘dinner’ a day later.

…but not just any dinner. This is her story:

Her favourite food is Japanese Chicken Katsu (thank you Ohnamiya Myaree).

Her love for pastel colour.

Her favourite music is the Asian classic F4 (for those who don’t know: )

Special mention and thanks for Stephanie Ho for her amazing card and the foundation of my planning. She makes amazing personalised cards, please check her amazing talent and products at her Facebook Page Stephanique Designs.

Flowers organised by Lily of the Valley, Leeming. You guys are always amazing <3

Thank you to the playground children who gave me the ‘thumbs up’ and for taking care of my ‘stuff’ when I was away. You guys were right…she really really loved it.

My dearest Mandy, you truly are an angel dressed in armour, my life, my safe harbour. And I am the luckiest guy to have you by my side. I love you.

K.
